In the first quarter of this year alone, 42,000 new customers subscribed to the network, while revenues increased by 21.7% to total £1.69 billion.
Group Chairman Charles Dunstone commented: “This year, we will focus on two main priorities for the business: maintaining our momentum in the broadband market … and completing our ‘one company’ integration programme.”
He noted that TalkTalk is unlikely to be introducing any service before the launch of Project Canvas.
While overall broadband satisfaction for all providers has climbed two per cent from 77% to 79%, just 62% of customers are satisfied with customer service, uSwitch.com recently revealed.
The annual broadband bill is now £167, down from £175 in 2009, it also discovered, while the average speed received by customers has jumped from 4.2Mb to 5.7Mb.
